::First Semester::Freshmen Status::

I graced the halls of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My first day was moving in complete and utter slowness. I was beyond homesick, missing New Orleans like hell. Even with my sister in her junior year here at SU, it felt as if I was invisible to one's eyes. The whole regimine of going to class was, suprisingly difficult. My professors were strict as fu*k and the students here were intimidating...

Or maybe I was easily intimidated?

"Roommate!"

Someone touched my shoulder, startling me in the process. I turned a little, only to find my roommate, Andrea, piercing me with her hazel contacts. She was really pretty: brown-skinned, petite, curvy and rocking the hottest weave. Even with my hair being naturally curly, I couldn't compare...

"Hey, Andrea."

"Girl, where are you going? You seem a bit lost," she laughed

"I am not lost."

Okay, I am lost.

"Andrea!! Lookin' nice, shawty."

Our eyes adverted to four boys walking past us. Each wore a cheesy grin while eyeing every curve on Andrea's body...

"Seniors," she smiled while rolling her eyes

"So, you're just gonna' ignore me like that?" One of guys questioned

"I'll meet you in the dorm..." I began, not really wanting to be in her presence any longer

"No, wait," Andrea pleaded, clutching my arm

"Why do yo--"

"Chris, get a life."

"You wasn't saying..." He turned to me and grabbed my hand, gently shaking it..."You wasn't saying that last night."

"Don't let him touch you, girl and you're right, I wasn't... Nigga' I was studying...Come again, please."

"C'mon Chris! Nike store, remember?"

"Hold on, D'Wayne..." He grinned, slowly licking his lips. "Andrea, why do you deny your urge to fu*k me, ma?"

I gasped, unable to hide my laughter. Andrea smiled from ear to ear, finally, laughing herself...

"Aye, D'Wayne...You're lookin' hella sexy. Get at me, later."

The Chris guy kissed his teeth after hearing those words escape Andrea's lips..."You know my dorm number," he hissed before walking off with his 'clique.'

"Is that your boyfriend?"

"Nah, we dated awhile back but nothing too serious."

"Cool."

We continued our journey, touring the overly-populated school until reaching our destination, our dorm room...

...Little did I know, some sh*t would pop off in this very room...
